The program aims to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on specific data protection issues related to digital technology, in alignment with GDPR criteria. Developed in collaboration with the International Foundation for Administration and Public Policy of Spain (FIIAPP), a publicly owned chartered organization, it serves as an instrument of the Spanish Government in the arena of international cooperation for democratic governance and institutional strengthening. FIIAPP will develop this specialised training course under the EU-funded project EU4DigitalUA.
EU4DigitalUA is focused on the further development of digital government infrastructure, public e-services, cybersecurity and data protection. With improve efficiency and security of public service delivery, citizens and businesses in Ukraine will have better access to services provided by authorities while the number and quality of these e-services will increase. Participants in the program will acquire a comprehensive understanding of personal data protection, ethical considerations in using cutting-edge technologies, data anonymization techniques, and privacy principles in product development. They will also gain insights into the challenges posed by the modern digital landscape.
The program includes 10 lectures emphasizing the practical application of knowledge, delivered by experts from the National Data Protection Agency of Spain (AEPD) and other national data protection professionals.
It is designed for current Chief Data and Technology Officers (CDTOs) working in ministries, city councils, regional councils, and other governmental agencies, catering to experienced professionals who wish to refresh and expand their knowledge.
